Firefox Dev News

Mozilla Firefox is the world’s most-used open-source browser. Developed by the Mozilla Foundation and its subsidiary the Mozilla Corporation, Firefox uses the Gecko rendering engine as a pose to EdgeHTML or the Blink engine as we’ve seen with leading alternatives.

Even though Firefox doesn’t run on a Chromium foundation, it’s still a great browser. Firefox comes with its own set of unique browser extensions, but since it has a stern following, enough support is there for a robust ecosystem. In fact, Firefox had a long history of being the go-to browser for extensions and was well-known for its extensive toolbar.

Firefox doesn’t offer as much variety for early adopters as other leading alternatives; instead, the Dev and Beta channels are the same except for those actually using the browsers will have some extra Dev tools in the Dev version.
