Site Navigation/Overview
The theporndude.com homepage was split into sections and each section was for a different category of porn site, i.e., porn tube sites, premium porn sites, et cetera. Each porn domain had a hyperlink and when I clicked them I was directed to the domain name, i.e., I clicked on Fapello and landed on fapello.com; however, I did notice an oddity to the link. Instead of it directing me to fapello.com, it directed me to fapello.com/?ref=porndude. These reference links often are set up because they’re networked links. In other words, the links are affiliate links and not listed in the order that theporndude.com would list them if he was properly ranking them himself. I then needed to test how widespread this issue was. They were all linked to theporndude.com as a reference. Notably, theporndude.com is the most popular porn directory site. Is that because of the networked links it has partnerships with that allow it to show in the head section of other sites, or is it because theporndude.com still benefits from a very good click-through rate even though the landing pages are on other domains? It could be that as long as users are clicking on your links, it still gets counted as a good click-through rate regardless of where the user ends up. It can’t be good for time on site though. If users love the idea of landing on other sites and it increases the likelihood of them coming back to your domain, would that be a better search engine signal overall?

Theporndude.com lists what it thinks are the world's best porn sites. They are lists and not ranks because whatever website makes the list isn't ranked in any particular order from best to worst. If you're on the list, that is all that matters. That said, some of the websites featured in the theporndude.com lists are affiliated links that wouldn't deserve to be there if they were truly creating lists of the best websites. This is easy to tell when you look at their SimilarWeb ranks and see some of the sites that make the lists getting hardly any traffic. Theporndude.com ranks very well in Google for the homepage of brands because it is known as a reliable source for related content, and Google likes to rank related content.
