The Firefox browser has been updated to version 94.0.1. This update to the Release channel rolled out on November 4, 2021.
Normally the first minor update after a major release comes with many fixes; however, on this particular occasion, Firefox only made the one change. You can thank the extensive developer channel that does a great job of ensuring the builds are stable before they get to a final release stage for that. The one fix that did need implementing was the browser hanging when videos were being viewed in full-screen view on macOS computers. You can read the changelog provided by Firefox below.
The changelog provided by Firefox:
- Fixed browser hangs when viewing fullscreen videos on macOS 10.12 (bug 1737998)
To update Firefox, open the browser and then head to Help > About Firefox, and then the browser will automatically check if any updates are yet to be installed.
