The Windows 11 operating system has been updated to build 10.0.22478.1012. This update to the Dev channel was released on October 16, 2021.
Build 10.0.22478.1012 is for validating the servicing pipeline and does not contain any fixes, as per the Windows Insider channel. Note that the update text you see within the Settings app may suggest it is a Windows 10 update when in fact it is for Windows 11. This is just an error in the text itself and won’t downgrade your operating system in any way; it is still a Windows 11 upgrade.
Heads up #WindowsInsiders in the Dev Channel! We’ve released build 22478.1012. This cumulative update is for validating the servicing pipeline and does not contain any fixes. #AreYouFlightingYet
