The WIndows 10 operating system has been updated to version KB5007186. This update to Windows 10 version 21H1 was released on November 9, 2021.
Windows 10 KB5007186 for Windows 10 version 21H1 is a security update that also includes some quality improvements. According to Microsoft, KB5007186 includes all the improvements from Windows 10 version 2004. They do not go into specific detail regarding what they mean by that. Some of the changes that we do know about are subtitles now appearing properly at all times for some video applications (this was never a problem for Windows 10’s Movies and TV app, though). Some streaming sites were also reporting that Windows 10 was the cause for some of their subtitles not showing up.
