DESCRIPTION
The homepage of javbus.com didn’t show content before I consented to a pop-up. The pop-up notification wasn’t in English. It was the first time I had seen one not in English and it made me realize how much of an issue that is present for those who don’t speak the language. No matter the person’s language, they can visit a picture or video site and still navigate their way around because images are universally understood. In any event, I was able to translate and consent to the message and remove the pop-up. However, it then wanted me to submit answers to an “age test” and there were five multiple-choice questions. I had never seen anything like this. For the sake of this review, I filled them in otherwise I would have left. The test was far too extensive to expect the average internet user to do. Thus, I assume the age test would result in a considerable loss of traffic. Some of the questions were specific to the home nation’s currency and laws, which I found difficult to even guess the answers to.
