It started getting lots of traffic immediately after its first crawl which suggests it had affiliations with other sites or advertised to grow its traffic. It has had consistent crawl rates each year suggesting similar traffic; however, the crawl rates did increase during 2018 and remained at the elevated level, suggesting it became even more popular then. The crawl rate has been extremely consistent over the last two years.

Is Chaturbate.com Safe?
I conducted a series of malware tests to find out if chaturbate.com is safe and legit. Here are the results:
I installed the Malwarebytes Browser Guard on my Edge browser and was able to browse the site livejasmin.com without any issues.
To check this further I ran malware scans with Malwarebytes and Spybot on my computer after browsing the site chaturbate.com and they returned no malware detection. I also ran a system-wide scan with Microsoft Defender and no malware was found.
To try to confirm that the site is clean, I also checked the site chaturbate.com on the online malware scanner Sucuri and it returned with no issues. You can see the same here: https://sitecheck.sucuri.net/results/chaturbate.com
Sucuri says it ran into a 403 Forbidden site issue; however, it was still able to scan the site chaturbate.com and grade it as a low security risk. The 403 Forbidden was related to two URLs in particular that I have listed below:
https://chaturbate.com:443/auth/login/
https://chaturbate.com:443/tipping/purchase_tokens/?source=TokenSourceUserInfoPanel
These URLs didn’t prevent Sucuri from scanning the rest of the site. Sucuri says the site chaturbate.com has no malware. Moreover, Sucuri didn’t find any injected spam or defacements on the site chaturbate.com. I can also see that no security vendors associated with Sucuri have blacklisted the site chaturbate.com which means they don’t notice any malicious content on the site either.
Some improvements could be made such as solving the several missing security headers listed below:
Missing security header to prevent Content Type sniffing. Affected pages:
http://chaturbate.com/ for Google’s UA
https://chaturbate.com:443/404javascript.js/
https://chaturbate.com:443/404testpage4525d2fdc/
https://chaturbate.com:443/auth/login/
https://chaturbate.com:443/auth/login/?next=/tipping/purchase_tokens/?source=TokenSourceUserInfoPanel
https://chaturbate.com:443/terms/Missing Content-Security-Policy directive. We recommend to add the following CSP directives (you can use default-src if all values are the same): script-src, object-src, base-uri, frame-src. Affected pages:
http://chaturbate.com/ for Google’s UA
https://chaturbate.com:443/auth/login/
https://chaturbate.com:443/auth/login/?next=/tipping/purchase_tokens/?source=TokenSourceUserInfoPanel
https://chaturbate.com:443/terms/The ‘unsafe-inline’ keyword in Content-Security-Policy is not recommended. Consider using unsafe-hashes or nonces instead.
However, these minor issues aren’t enough to change the overall grade of the scan from being a low security risk.
Lastly, I ran a malware scan with VirusTotal on the domain chaturbate.com and no security vendor has flagged the domain as malicious. You can see the same here: https://www.virustotal.com/gui/domain/chaturbate.com
In conclusion, Sucuri couldn’t scan a couple of the URLs on Chaturbate; however, it was still able to scan the site enough to conclude there is no malware. Moreover, no security vendor associated with Sucuri or VirusTotal has flagged the domain as malicious. Overall, I can see that the site chaturbate.com is a low security risk.
