DESCRIPTION

The homepage of simpcity.su had numerous forum sections including for info and links, promotions, requests, premium fan sites, social media, professional sites, specialized interests, animated, and community. The first two sections that took up all of above the fold seemed related to networked/sponsored content to me. Also, overall, there were more sections than average compared to other similar forums I reviewed. I don’t know that the first section related to info and links was for networked content, but even if it was, it’s not necessarily a problem if their users like it. I curiously clicked some of the links in the info and links section because they were for “tools” and I suspected that they were networked links, and they did indeed open content on other domains which tells me they are networked links. Given the location of the networked links, I was surprised by how popular simpcity.su was to visit. The forum itself had good content if you were visiting the site mostly for images because there was not much chatter or text on the forums I visited. There were, however, many images and links to other images. Generally, I would expect visitors to be interested in the images more than anything on a site like this.

HISTORY

As of December 2022, the website simpcity.su has 63.8 million monthly views, according to Similar Web. The Wayback Machine estimates that simpcity.su was founded on August 31, 2022. The Internet Archive has saved simpcity.su 608 times between August 31, 2022 and January 24, 2024.

Is simpcity.su Safe?

I analyzed simpcity.su for malware and malicious content to check if it was legit or a scam. Here are the results:

I checked simpcity.su on Sucuri, and it returned as a low security risk.

Sucuri says simpcity.su is a low security risk; however, it does have a 403 Forbidden site issue.

A reason for the low security risk grade could be due to the 403 Forbidden warning coming not for the homepage but rather to lesser pages listed below:
