The xnxx.tv homepage was a mirror of xnxx.com during my time of visit. The category pages for xnxx.tv and xnxx.com were also mirrors. They seem to be complete mirror sites. I hope to uncover in the future what reasons they would want to have a mirror site of the same videos and what strategies they use in search engines to make both sites visible. When I assess xnxx.tv and treat it like a unique site, the user experience is good: it has original colors that are brandable and inviting. The video player was high quality. The depth of content is lacking compared with sites that get more traffic than it, but other than that, I don’t see much difference with regard to user experience. Might the blue background be too bright for some people? Maybe but I don’t think it’s a big issue. What’s most important is the content and the option to interact with it. For instance, there were many related videos beneath the video player which was good and there were links above the fold in the sidebar next to the video player which I encouraged as well. Ideally, the sidebar links are to other webpages on the same domain. If not, you at least want to own the next domain, which in this case, they do. The links in the sidebar directed me to the xnxx-cams.com domain which is owned by xnxx.tv and xnxx.com. 2/7/2023

Xnxx.tv is currently redirecting to xnxx.com. Why do they do this?
A domain with the same name as another but a different TLD redirecting to one of those other domains of the same name is done to protect the brand. The brand owner (owner of XNXX) has bought several of the TLDs associated with their brand (.com, .tv, etc.) so that no one else can use them. It's common for predators to try to set up businesses off the backs of famous ones because some people think the separate businesses are legitimate and part of the same company when they're not. ICANN, owner of all TLDs, constantly releases new ones because it wants to continue profiting from new domain extensions to the detriment of business owners.
