DESCRIPTION

The homepage of txxx.com had 24 rows of video thumbnails and 5 thumbnails per row. My first impression was that it was neatly laid out, especially for a porn tube that was divided into sections on the homepage because most of the time they become disorderly. The theme on the homepage was two-columned with a left sidebar. Notably, at the top of the left sidebar was a section I think would be popular with users. In it were the following options: Best, Popular, Newest, Watch History, and Watch Later. The Best section had an icon featuring a thumb which I took to mean a symbol of what videos people had liked the most but part of me thought maybe it was something else, so I clicked to check. And it was a section of the most-liked videos. The difference between Best and Popular is that the popular section shows which videos have the most views whereas the Best section has the videos with the most likes. If it were me, I would state the obvious rather than be original here: Most Liked and Most Viewed are easier categories to understand. Beneath this section were the categories and network names. Were these network names related to networked links I would be redirected to or were they another method of categorizing and sorting the content? The first click I made took me to a category page for the network. However, the second click redirected me to the video on another domain as though I were now using a porn search engine. Thus, in my opinion, these were networked links in the paid sense.

As of December 2023, txxx.com has 93.41 million monthly views (101.4 million Dec 2022), according to Similar Web. The Wayback Machine estimates that txxx.com was founded on March 9, 2001. The Internet Archive has saved txxx.com 4,963 times between March 9, 2001 and October 23, 2023. Wayback Machine data shows txxx.com wasn’t saved much between 2001 and 2015; it wasn’t until the back half of 2016 that txxx.com started getting saved regularly. Since 2016, txxx.com has been a very popular site.
