The homepage looks similar to Tumblr but with a featured blogs section in the right column and beneath it is a hot keywords widget which also is not found on Tumblr. The main content is wider than Tumblr. The width allows for more pictures to show since it is a gallery rather than a traditional blog feed wall. I clicked on an image above the fold on the tumblrgallery.xyz homepage. It opened a series of images posted by the same person who was in the original thumbnail, i.e., the picture in the thumbnail was a gateway to a user profile, and inside that profile were more images published by that same user. The pictures were of high quality; roughly the same as I would see on the official Tumblr main site.
