What Is Temu?
Temu (temu.com) is an online retailer for electronics, home decor, pet supplies, sports, and toys offering wholesale prices. As of July 2023, the site temu.com gets an estimated 252 million monthly views, according to SimilarWeb. The Wayback Machine estimates that temu.com was founded for the first time on September 23, 2002; however, it was saved sparingly between 2002 and 2019 and wasn’t saved at all during 2020 or 2021. Since mid 2022, it has been saved regularly, suggesting it may have new owners since then. The Internet Archive has saved the domain temu.com 118,374 times between September 23, 2002 and August 18, 2023.
Is Temu Safe?
I analyzed temu.com for malware and malicious content to check if it was legit or a scam. Here are the results:
