What Is recu.me, and Is It Safe?

Search Engine Marketing tools claimed in the past that Recu.me was a website for analyzing paid and organic website traffic. That's probably a previous owner of the domain. It's not uncommon for pornographic websites to buy previously owned domains. However, it's not known whether this is what helps them build or not. Search Engines are generally aware of such tactics and try to devalue signals that are not coming from relevant data. That is to say that buying a domain once owned for marketing purposes won't help you with adult content. The reality is that Recu.me has high-quality original cam girl videos that would rank well on any TLD.

Recu.me is the second coming of Recurbate, a site once seized by the US government. This tells me that Recurbate is not affiliated with Chaturbate, since Chaturbate literally sued it. You can only sue a website and have it seized if it is being hosted in your country or if the country you host the website in is willing to submit to the requests of the US government.

Recu.me stores some videos taken from Chaturbate shows. They choose which shows they will store, which is often what they consider to be the highlights of the Chaturbate website/shows they know people will view. Many of these cam girl archive websites go bankrupt, which is why they are very selective in what videos they choose to store. Video files are large, which means expensive server costs to store them. This is why they force people to pay a subscription to download the videos. Some models dislike being shared on such archive sites; they also dislike the idea of a company stealing their content and then locking it behind a subscription fee. Recu.me is a legitimate website with real cam girl videos from Chaturbate recordings. Once you subscribe, they become unlocked. Without paying, you get very limited preview clips. You can download the clips after you have subscribed and store them on your PC after you cancel the subscription.

I don't recommend forcing users to create an account and then telling them after the account has been created that they need to upgrade to a premium account. Many people would not create an account if they knew that creating an account wouldn't be enough to watch videos. Thus, you will lose user trust with this method.

2 days ago, recu.me showed a banner saying Recurbate Awards 2024, suggesting that it is owned by the same people behind Recurbate. There is a $28,000 prize fund for these awards.

You won't find any recu.me images in Google Images of models on the websites. I'm not sure why not. Most porn sites always index their images/videos so users can browse from the search engine images rather than only arrive via text links in search results or directly to the homepage.

Recu.me has good cam model archives and some of the videos are rarely found anywhere else. But yeah, you can't watch them for free, so this is not a site for most people. It's a niche site for the small percentage of people willing to take a gamble on content and pay for it. I find there's probably not enough videos in the archives of my favorite performers to justify becoming a premium member.

Curbate.tv is also a website associated with recurbate.com. I tried watching a fay_miller2 nude clip on curbate.tv and it didn't let unless I subscribed, so it is run like the other two (recurbate.com and recu.me) where you need to pay to watch. I wouldn't ever pay for these clips. They should be free with banner ads.
