DESCRIPTION
The homepage showed a search box with tabs above it for buying, renting, selling, pre-approvals, agents, just sold, and home values. I haven’t seen the home values section on many other similar sites, so that is an original feature that I’m sure took a lot of work. Beneath the search box was a section titled “Browse homes in Watchung, NJ” and there were picture thumbnails beneath it. I don’t love Watchung, NJ, nor am I anywhere near it, so I don’t know why realtor.com chose to show this location to me, but it could be because it’s a nice general location that most people will like. Each thumbnail was for a different topic, i.e., new listings, price reduced, open houses, recently sold, new construction, land, condos, and homes within 25 miles. Beneath that was another section titled “Discover how we can help” and there were tabs for buying, selling, and renting with various options for each on how realtor.com can help me with those options. Toward the bottom of the page were news articles.
