Is e.cash Safe?

I conducted a series of malware tests to find out if e.cash is safe and legit. Here are the results:

I installed the Malwarebytes Browser Guard on my Edge browser and browsed the site e.cash with no issues, meaning the browser guard didn’t think the site was compromised or malicious.

To check this further I ran malware scans with Malwarebytes and Spybot – Search & Destroy and they returned no malware detection. I also ran a system-wide scan on my computer with Microsoft Defender and no malware was found.

To confirm that the site is clean, I also checked the site e.cash on the online malware scanner Sucuri and it returned with no issues. You can see the same here: Sucuri scan for the site e.cash.

No malware was found and the site has not been blacklisted by any security vendor.

Some improvements could be made, namely installing a website firewall and fixing the missing security headers listed below:

Missing security header to prevent Content Type sniffing.

Missing Strict-Transport-Security security header.

Missing Content-Security-Policy directive. We recommend to add the following CSP directives (you can use default-src if all values are the same): script-src, object-src, base-uri, frame-src

However, these issues are minor and not enough to change the overall grade of the scan which concluded the site e.cash was a low security risk.

Lastly, I ran a malware scan for the site e.cash with VirusTotal and no security vendor flagged the domain as malicious. You can see the same here: VirusTotal scan for the site e.cash.

In conclusion, no malware was found during our scans and the site has not been blacklisted by any security vendor. We have no problem recommending this site.
