DESCRIPTION

The homepage of stripchat.com looked like a traditional sex cam site where there were models’ webcam stream thumbnails that I could click on and enter their rooms. Each sex cam site is subject to differ with how they rank their model’s rooms. Usually, the models with the most people in their rooms will rank higher toward the top of the homepage because, from a user perspective, those are the rooms people most want to see. However, I have known of some sex cam sites that will feature sponsored model rooms highest on the homepage. Either option can work since often there is a connection between the most popular models and the ones that make the most money. Stripchat’s homepage thumbnails were broken up into sections: top free live sex cams, Australian sex cams (I was in Australia), couples live sex cams, new and trending live cam girls, VR cams, and featured live sex shows. The featured live sex shows were by far the largest section of thumbnails and it was the lowest down on the homepage. Notably, when a model was new on the site, there was a “New” icon featured on the thumbnail of the model’s room. There were numerous new models featured on the homepage during my visit, which to me suggests stripchat.com currently is a popular network.

As of December 2023, stripchat.com has 770.6 million monthly views (756.3 million Dec 2022), according to Similar Web. The Wayback Machine estimates that stripchat.com was founded on January 28, 2003. The Internet Archive has saved stripchat.com 5,498 times between January 28, 2003 and October 23, 2023. Wayback Machine data shows stripchat.com started getting saved a lot more in 2017 than it ever had been previously. Since 2017, stripchat.com’s popularity has grown each year.

Is stripchat.com Safe?

StripChat records an index score of 5.6 and graded it as relatively safe because it has two suspicious scripts. Even though we cannot determine if the scripts are malicious, they remain suspicious.
