If you don’t have an internet connection, it usually poses a problem for anything to do with webpages. However, in recent years we are starting to see more and more brands offer an offline installer which allows you to install files during all those times you are forced offline.

Google is now offering an offline installer for its Google Chrome web browser. The Chrome offline installer contains all the files you need to install Chrome, so there is no need for your internet connection to communicate with Google’s servers. You won’t get far once Chrome has been installed without an internet connection since most webpages require you being connected to the internet before they’ll open, but it turns out that there are still many people interested in this offline installer.

One of the reasons they’re so popular is once you have downloaded the offline installer from a computer with internet connectivity, you can then use that computer to spread it around to other devices that don’t yet have Chrome set up at all. Google makes it relatively quick and hassle-free to download and install Chrome, but you still have the added advantage of not using as much bandwidth.
