I thought the domain name surveyjunkie.com matched the content on the site. Above the fold made it clear what the goal was for users which was to get them to take surveys and in the surveys would be their own opinions about what a user thought about a pair of shoes etc with numerous descriptive words such as soft, light, and comfortable. It seemed to me like the surveys may have been sponsored by the companies that made the products so they could get genuine and honest user feedback. Could there be an advantage to getting feedback from people who are paid to take the survey rather than general reviews of a product? Possible. I know that most product reviews tend to be negative and some can be very negative due to unhappy people. Might paying people for surveys make them less mad? And if they are only using products for the sake of a survey, might they also be less inclined to be angry? I recommend reducing the size of the text and images on the homepage so the scrolling experience doesn’t feel so congested. I felt slightly disorientated and anxious due to how zoomed-in/close it felt to me.
