DESCRIPTION
The homepage of setapp.com says that it offers dozens of apps available from one subscription. Though this is quite standard, it was refreshing to see it in words because offers like this aren’t always simplified. There was also a button for a free 7-day trial. When I scrolled down the page, it showed screenshot examples of the things you can do with setapp.com. A few things I noticed were a chance to work on my own music, make quick mockups, plan projects, and convert files. Overall, I found that the app needed further explanation and that the things it told me it could do were too specific for me to get a proper grasp of what was happening. When I assessed the description overall, my interpretation was that setapp.com was mostly an app for cleaning up a Mac computer. But I couldn’t work out a connection between cleaning a Mac and some of the other features it offered such as writing computer code as though I was a developer and using some features to stay focused on my tasks etc. That’s not to say that the app couldn’t be useful; it’s only to say that if I couldn’t make a connection between these things, perhaps others would too which may result in fewer sales. That said, there was nothing that stood on on the setapp.com homepage as suspicious.
