DESCRIPTION
When I analyzed seatgeek.com, the focal point above the fold was the search field for me to type in what event I wanted to see live. Beneath the search field were picture thumbnails of recent events. I liked the homepage above the fold. I thought the search field was required and made sense rather than trying to show thumbnails of all of the events. I also liked that some thumbnails were included because they helped users understand the types of things to search for in the search field. The next question is how well the search field works. I noticed an NBA basketball game as one of the event thumbnails currently on offer, so I browsed for some other NBA teams in the search field. The search results pages were impressive, filled with calendar-style upcoming events for the teams I browsed for. Moreover, there was plenty of written information about the basketball team including useful information about basketball team tickets in general.
