DESCRIPTION
The pervclips.com homepage had large video thumbnails and an extensive header menu section with two sets of links. The top set of links were the equivalent of category links but only one of them was called a category link and the rest had other names such as Videos and Pornstars. Much of the rest of the links in this menu were networked links such as Free Cams. The second menu which was beneath the first menu was for tags and it listed tags across the full page wrap. There was also a scroll bar to view more tags because they didn’t fit within the page wrap. I thought there were plenty of reasons for users to click links on the homepage: the large thumbnails made it easy to see a video that may appeal to you and the abundance of links in the head section also increased the chances of users finding something to click. Some things could be improved: the video titles beneath the thumbnails were too small and the network logos beneath the titles were too small and unreadable in my opinion. What’s going to increase the time on site via the homepage is the quality of videos available in the thumbnails, and I saw many original videos that I hadn’t seen before during my reviews of porn tube sites, though they did have watermarks from other networks. Notably the networks shown on the watermarks were not common to me. Some of the networks I researched no longer existed and the domains redirected to other similar names which could have been a rebranding (for instance, deeptaboo.com redirected to puretaboo.com).
