When I analyzed hentairead.com, there was a Popular Today section above the fold that showed some of the most popular hentai manga covers being read today. The hentai covers featured professional drawings. The covers were also on a slider that I could click to view more covers. When I hovered over the hentai covers, it revealed the tags related to the thumbnail; the title tags were always visible whether I hovered the mouse or not. To open the hentai, I had to hover over the cover and click a small Read button; nothing else on the thumbnail was clickable. I recommend making the entire background image of the thumbnail clickable to open the hentai comic to increase user engagement as I worry some users won’t find the button to open the manga. It was also strange to me that the tags weren’t clickable when they appeared on hover. I recommend making the tags clickable hyperlinks to decrease the bounce rate by giving users an extra way to aggregate the content. 3/20/2025
