However, if you can’t use GIFs, you want to use optimized images that have the potential to be shown in search engines, which means they should be original images and the right size. There were many related videos beneath the videos on the single post page, which means there was a good amount of internal linking on each post. The homepage thumbnails could have been split into sections which would give the chance of using a heading tag optimized with keywords people are searching for, and if search engines like your content enough, they could potentially start to get traffic from search engines for the keywords. I thought that the titles on the thumbnails were too small in general and if they were larger it would increase user engagement. I did, however, like the use of tags under the thumbnails and post titles, which added more internal linking. The videos loaded quickly on the single post page and many of the videos were high quality, which should result in a positive time on-site on-page signal.
