The freetubespot.com homepage was similar to a two-column blog with a slider at the top of the page. On the slider were some of the most popular new release movies. I recommend making it clear what is on the slider. There was no mention of what movies were featured on the slider; I only knew that were the latest new releases because I keep up to date with movies. The new release movies on the slider would also rotate by themselves to show a full list of new movies on the slider and then the full row of the old movies would disappear. I recommend giving users the chance to click to scroll to the next set of movies. That way, they can choose to go back if the slider changes and removes a movie they wanted to check. I assume the current slider is set on a timer. The timer can remain there, but an option to scroll should be added so the timer can be manually overridden. The content on freetubespot.com was very high quality: I could easily scroll through the categories to find the current year’s movies for that genre. And the single post page with the movie on it was very effective for watching the movies: the movie player always played the movies easily and there were no bad advertisements to ruin the experience either.
