DESCRIPTION

When I analyzed feet9.com, I wouldn’t have guessed by the domain name that it was a porn tube site related to foot fetishes. I recommend using domain names that let people know that the content on the website is going to be NSFW if it is an NSFW website. That said, after finding out it was a porn site, the content did fit the description and there was a lot of content related to feet. The content on feet9.com was high quality: though there wasn’t a large number of internal links to click on on the homepage, the video thumbnails were appealing enough to the point where I would assume it wouldn’t struggle to get users clicking through to the single post pages. The single post pages with the videos sometimes didn’t load and I was redirected to other domains. I took this to mean that the pop-up ads were taking me to other domains. I don’t recommend having pop-up ads in general because they take your users away from your website. I especially don’t recommend pop-up ads that do not open new tabs with the ads such as what I experienced on feet9.com because then people become lost and can’t find their way back. The negative signals that you would give to search engines related to user experience will outweigh the benefits of displaying these ads. 11/19/2024
