DESCRIPTION
When I analyzed crocotube.com, the thumbnails opened single post pages with the videos on them, meaning crocotube.com was a porn tube site. The single post featured a large video player above the fold and ads in the right sidebar; all related videos were below the fold. I recommend having some related video thumbnails above the fold to help reduce the bounce rate. The video titles were unique and included relevant keywords for the videos. The web pages had a quick first-byte time, and the video player could start playing the videos quickly without any buffering. Each video I checked was watermarked with another network. When I hovered over the category menu, the categories took up most of the space above the fold and prevented me from seeing the video player. I recommend reducing any unnecessary space used for the category flyouts so the category menus don’t get in the way of the content when users scroll accidentally over the category menu. 3/20/2025

Is crocotube.com Safe?
Here, I analyzed crocotube.com for malware and malicious content to check if it was legit or a scam:
I checked crocotube.com on Sucuri, and it returned as a medium security risk.
The Sucuri scan failed on http://crocotube.com/ (the homepage) because of a 403 Forbidden status.

Unmask Parasites cites 3 suspicious inline scripts:

I also checked crocotube.com on VirusTotal, and it is clean.
Further, crocotube.com passed all blocklist engines on URLVoid.
In conclusion, with an index score of 5.2, we graded crocotube.com as relatively safe. Crocotube.com is blocking scans from running on the homepage (http://crocotube.com/), meaning they might be blocking malware scans from running on purpose. Moreover, we found three potential parasites when we scanned crocotube.com. But it’s not enough for us to be suspicious of crocotube.com yet. OVERALL GRADE: Relatively Safe.
