DESCRIPTION

When I analyzed aliexpress.com, I found that it had a good number of internal links on the homepage and features related to one. One of the original features I noticed was when I hovered over a thumbnail, it gave two options: see a preview and see similar items. I liked the option to browse similar items from the same thumbnail. Flyout features like this I think are one of the future innovations of website features. The single post pages via the thumbnails were slower to load than average and slower than I would have expected for such a big company. I recommend checking that the coding can’t be completed any better. As I scrolled through the category landing pages, there were seemingly endless lists of items, and there wasn’t always a close relevance between items on the page: shoes, pants, earrings, iPhone cases, all on the same page. I recommend sorting the items to be as closely related as possible and only showing related items on the one page, even if it means removing the infinite scroll. 11/13/2024
