The Samsung Galaxy S5, which was first revealed to the world during the Mobile World Congress held in February, is coming to T-Mobile in April in two different models. These are the 16 GB version and the 32 GB version. Other than the obvious memory size variances there will also be another pivotal difference in that the 32 GB version is only being sold online. Some blogs are reporting this is to boost subscriptions, and while we can’t confirm if there’s any truth to that, we can say that T-Mobile doesn’t look like they will be changing the Samsung Galaxy S5 32 GB model to in-store pick ups anytime soon.
There’s a strong demand for a handset that has more memory than the other. These people will often want to own the device that smartphone carriers more because they store much music, videos and pictures on the mobile and that takes up a lot of storage. Because of this, it is smart for T-mobile to make the larger 32 GB option only accessible by buying it from their official website because people will have to sign up in doing so. That then gives them a new subscriber and it is the subscriptions that they want more of, as do all sellers on the market.

We reported earlier in the year that the S5 would be coming in two different types. On of them we already saw unveiled a few weeks ago, and the other was a Quad HD premium Smartphone coming in June. While it does seem like those rumors will still be true, for now we are only referring to this model set for the launch in April, as the Galaxy S5.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 is picked up by 7 phone carriers including AT&T, Sprint, MetroPCS, Verizon, Boost Mobile, Virgin Mobile and T-Mobile whom we are talking about here. There’s also a small chance that U.S. Cellular picks this one up, but that will be sanctioned in the near future. Along with the many carriers, it will also be sold direct from 7 different retailers including Best Buy, Radioshack, Walmart, Amazon, Target, Cosco and Sam’s Club.
We are predicting T-Mobile to sell the S5 for $199 on a two-year contract. The American phone carriers always like to work with a subsidized deal, and there’s no reason it will be any different this time around.
We expect the Galaxy S5 revealed with a 5.1-inch 1080p display and it to weigh as little as 135 grams or 5.11 oz. It will have the Android 4.4 .2 operating system running the latest version of KitKat. The technology inside of the display is a Super AMOLED Multi-touch screen that will be impressive even though this is a more budget variant compared to the one we will see announced mid-year. The camera is 16 megapixels and comes with a LED flash. Our favourite part of this package is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 system chip to go along with the Quad core Krait 400 processor.
In stark contrast, we hear that the 16 GB variant will only be available for buying in stores. It could be that T-Mobile has a plan it wants to carry out when they see people face to face also.
