There are not many root methods available out there for the Micromax A30 Smart 3.0 smartphone, mainly because it is so new. There is, however, a nice little rar file located at the bottom of this post sitting on the 4shared website that is specifically made for it. We have not been able to test this file as we are not the owners of a Micromax A30 ourselves. What we can say is that it is the only file currently floating around to root the A30 variant of the Micromax mobile. When another one comes out with an actual guide along with it from a developer then we will post it here as an updated version.
The phone running Android 2.3.7 Gingerbread is still a 3G phone, but it does come with surprisingly good features for its price. Along with 3G you also obviously have the wifi to choose from, so if you are someone who spends a lot of time working off of wireless networks rather than the towers around you anyway, then there’s even more reason to jump on this new smartphone.
Arguably the most impressive part of this device — which tends to contradict its 3G capability a bit — is its battery life. The battery can last for 180 hours of standby time. I’m not sure how that competes against all phones, however, I can tell you it sure beats my aging iPhone 3GS.
I mentioned impressive features earlier and the reason for that is its multimedia capabilities. Enjoy the fruits of many different audio and video file formats so you will never be wondering why the hell something isn’t working. Having native audio formats like audio formats mp3, AAC, AAC+, AMR, and MIDI means you will always be able to listen to whatever music you want.
