A Nokia Lumia 1520 is in the works for the Redmond-based company. This will follow on from their previous Nokia Lumia 1020 which is seen here in full.

The main feature of the 1020 was the amazing state of the art camera it was equipped with which quickly became the benchmark of the industry. Although quickly swooped by competitors, it was good to see Microsoft come up with something attached to the Windows Phone that was leading the way instead of following, like is so often the case ever since they arrived late on the mobile scene.

The news of the 1520 has come after Microsoft’s acquisition of Nokia which it bought out a few days ago.

The move was initially criticized by many as not the way to go for Windows Phone. It was then rumored that Microsoft may also attempt to buy out Blackberry mobile in the coming months ahead. Talks are still continuing.

The overall design of the 1520 looks very similar to its predecessors, only larger in size. There is no talk of any special feature attached to it now.

To fill you in with what we know, the 1520 is coming with Windows phone 8, has a physical display size of 6.0-inches, 1080 x 1920 pixels screen resolution, 368 ppi pixel density and IPS LCD screen technology rounding out the display. The camera is 20 megapixels with Dual LED flash on the rear and 1.2 megapixels on the front side. The hardware boasts a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 MSM8974 system chip, Quad core, 2200 MHz, Krait 400 processor, 2048 MB RAM system memory and 32 Gb of built-in internal storage space.
