DESCRIPTION

The homepage of fapello.com reminded me of Instagram and a blog like thefappeningblog.com. There was a social media element to it because it gave me the option to sign up and log in to the site. To me, it seemed that this sign-up page wasn’t for random people like me but rather pages models could set up for themselves to post their pictures that others would view. Think of it as the Instagram of porn but where you wouldn’t want to create a profile unless you thought people would find you attractive, which isn’t what Instagram is for, at least not to my knowledge. The aspect that reminded me of thefappeningblog.com is the fact that the homepage was a simple two-column site with the single post width being the focal point and the model’s latest posts rolled down the display. When I clicked on an image shown as one of the latest images on the homepage, it opened the model’s full profile and all of their pictures rather than a larger version of the same image. One of the models I saw was the famous Gabrielle Union who is the wife of Dwayne Wade. Do I think Gabrielle Union created a page on a site called fapello.com to share pictures of herself for other men to masturbate to? Probably not.

As of December 2023, fapello.com has 66 million monthly views (62 million Dec 2022), according to Similar Web. The Wayback Machine estimates that fapello.com was founded on December 3, 2021. Wayback Machine data shows Fapello started getting saved regularly as soon as the site was founded and its popularity hasn’t decreased since. Fapello seemingly has great content.

Here, I analyzed fapello.com for malware and malicious content to check if it was legit or a scam:
