DESCRIPTION
When I analyzed bilibili.com, content was abundant and internal links on the homepage, which I recommend for this niche. I didn’t like some of the pop-ups I had to remove, but apart from that, I liked the homepage and all its thumbnails very much. There was plenty of content for users to engage with which would help increase the click-through rate. That said, I had to deal with the same pop-up twice within a minute, so I didn’t enjoy the experience overall. I recommend no pop-ups, but if you show them, don’t show them more than once. Every time I clicked out of the tab and then back onto the tab, the same pop-up would show itself, asking me to log in to an account or register. If I can click out of this pop-up and still interact with the thumbnails on the homepage, why are you showing me the same pop-up every time? To me, it would only make sense to enforce a pop-up on every view of a tab if the content was locked. If the content isn’t locked, I shouldn’t be shown the pop-up each time.
