DESCRIPTION
The homepage of 1337x.to featured a medium to large search box above the fold that I could type the name of a movie, TV show, game, or other torrent file to browse for it directly. Also, beneath the search field were prominent icons for each category of torrents that 1337x.to offers: Movies, Television, Games, Music, Applications, Anime, Documentaries, Other, and XXX. When I clicked on one of these icons, it showed me a results page filled with only torrents from that category. And browsing through the category was convenient: there was a forum-like page where I could read the titles of the latest torrents in the category and there were other columns to the right of the title that showed me details such as seeders and leechers, the date the torrent was uploaded and who it was uploaded by, and the size of the file when you download it. When I clicked on the titles, there were clear links to the torrent sand magnet files. When I clicked on the magnet links, they never loaded the torrent files to my torrent client. It then became a suspicious site to me.
