Recently, Facebook announced the Facial Recognition feature for its users. With this feature, users can get suggestions for tagging by scanning their uploaded pictures with the Facebook Facial Recognition feature. However, some people do not find this feature useful and may want to opt out from this because the feature suggests your name on the pictures which match with your picture. Thus they feel that it breaks their privacy. Here is the simple guide to opting out yourself from the Facebook Facial Recognition Feature.

Opt Out from Facebook Facial Recognition

Go to www.facebook.com and log in with your account details.

Now, click on Account>>Privacy Settings at the top right corner.

It will bring you the Facebook Privacy settings page, now click on Customize settings to customize your privacy settings.

Scroll down the page and click on the Edit Settings option next to the Suggest photos of me to friends under Things others share.

Now, Click on the Enabled button to pop out the list, choose Disabled from it and hit the OK button.

That’s it. From now on, your friends will not get a suggestion of you to tag in their uploaded pictures. Hope it helped. Drop your comments!
