If you haven’t yet heard of the application called Flipboard, then I highly recommend you check it out. The app lets you create your own magazines.
By grabbing all the latest news and trends that suit your own personal needs, you can then put this all in one place for yourself. It also lets you keep these trends, so that these news feeds will be coming to your magazine in the future. Moreover, it also lets people view your magazine and you can view others also; kind of like as if your mag was published. They also say there is a social platform that you can connect with friends and family also, however, that much remains to be seen on my end. From what I can make out, this is what they are calling being social — letting others view your stuff.
You can view Flipboard online via a standard website, or you can also get the apps which are available for most mobiles including Android, iPhone and Blackberry. If you were to head over to the app pages, you would notice there was an update on the 1st of October. If you then look at the details, you would see this reads 2.0.9. That is the current version they are giving live.
If you download this APK, however, it is updated to the very latest 2.0.11 which is ahead of time compared to the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. The version they have which launched on the 1st of this month is mainly for bug fixes only. This version we have here on the other hand actually gives you some nice new features. With this APK you can have the new delete unwanted comments, which will be coming to all versions in the coming months.
