When you first take a glance at the image that shows the Samsung Galaxy Tab 6 below it reminds me of the Galaxy S5 with all the little holes. The official colors are yet to be announced, but from our naked eyes it is blue and black or space gray. Those names are changing for official marketing color names, but that is what they are.

It is a risky move that Sammy did with this design because sometimes humans can get sick of complex designs a lot quicker than they would if it were plain and bland. That is the general rule of design, never over do it because it will come back to haunt you. That is why I think this design will not last beyond 2014. However, for now, I’ve looked at it for months and I am still OK with it and that is all that matters because most people update their devices by next year anyway. If you plan on keeping this Tab S past 12 months and more like 24 or 36 months then it may be something you want to consider before buying.

So what does this magnificent machine bring to the table? It marks the first ever 2560×1600 AMOLED display and it does not stop there either. It will also have the eight-core Exynos 5420 system chip so it will not run short on power under the hood. Makeup the eight cores are four Cortex-A15 and four Cortex-A7 chips. They are not massively powerful but if you put them all together like the South Korean multinational conglomerate company has done here then you have some serious power. It will come in Wi-Fi and LTE variants. Graphics-wise there is a six-score Mali-T628 and a 3GB of dual-channel 933MHz LPDDR3e RAM.

Call me paranoid, but all this is making me think what else are we seeing Samsung bring out next. We’ve said for a long time that we thought another flagship smartphone was coming and seeing this makes me even more confident of that fact. Is the S5 prime on the cards?

From what we have shown you in this picture, are you interested in buying this tablet for its looks? Or does the specs that we have mentioned throughout this article more tickle your fancy? Some people loved the design of the S5, and if you were one of those people, then you will feel the same here again. The only question is do you have enough money to buy both?

If you prefer shopping around for different tablets this summer, Sammy also will release the TabPRO to go along with the NotePRO. Both of those are available in the US already. Furthermore, there is the Galaxy Tab 4 coming as well that we know will be very popular.
