Whether you like the options available that let you change the colors of your personalized theme, or whether you still use it because you are from the old school when it was the bomb and all of your contacts are still in there, Yahoo Mail is still one of the best email clients going around. Sure, it does have its problems, like the big block advertisement as soon as you open it up which delays the slow process of being able to open your applications even more, but it still goes down as one of the all time classics to use.

On the Android platform things look and feel a little different, but it is still the same program. Today, there is a new update available for those running the popular mail client that boosts it up to version 3.0.17. There isn’t a great deal that is new in terms of features, but most of the Android users should have no trouble in getting it to work on their devices because it is compatible with Android 2.2 and above. If you do need an updated software version to see out the installation smoothly, you might want to check the Settings> ‘About Phone’ section, and see if there is an over the air update available to be installed.

Performance enhancements may sound like a bit of a cliché now because it’s all that is said when half of the updates come out, but in this case they are worth noting due to the mere fact that it will be noticeably different and working better after you have gone through with the installation. That makes up most of what is new in this particular version. If you did experience any bugs in the last iteration, you should also expect those gone this time around.

It’s totally free to use and is found at the Google Play store from this link here.
