Yahoo (yahoo.com) is a search engine. Yahoo was founded by Jerry Yang and David Filo in January 1994. Though it is listed as a search engine, Yahoo gets most of its traffic from the news articles that appear on its front page. In 2023, the Yahoo search engine had the same algorithm as Bing, thus where a site ranks in Bing is where they rank in the Yahoo search engine, etc. It was founded in Stanford, California. DESCRIPTION
The homepage of yahoo.com had a search box at the top of the page, but it wasn’t the main emphasis of the page. Beneath the search box was a section of the latest trending news articles. Beneath that again, were more news articles. Some of the news articles were taken from Yahoo Sports and others were from publications unrelated to Yahoo. As I scrolled below the fold, the news articles continued in a blog style and were on a continuous scroll. The content appeared to be divided into categories. Most of the content was related to business or sports. The Yahoo search engine at the top of the page returned the same results for my queries as the Bing search engine.

As of November 2023, yahoo.com has 8.8 million monthly views, according to Similar Web. The Wayback Machine estimates yahoo.com was founded on October 17, 1996. The Internet Archive has saved yahoo.com 8,456,537 times between October 17, 1996 and December 16, 2023.
