The homepage said: “Organize your work and life, finally.” Beneath the slogan was a button to “start for free.” Underneath the button was a large image showing an example of the UI of the todoist.com app. When I scrolled below the fold, there were animated GIFs demonstrating the features, such as clicking on listed tasks for the day to make them disappear, leaving only the undone tasks still on the page. The bottom of the homepage had testimonials, such as one from The Verge that said: “Todoist makes it easy to go as simple or as complex as you want.”

Just use Slack. Slack is owned by Salesforce which is a much better company than Todoist. I can guarantee that the Slack app will be better. You can use Slack for anything from fantasy baseball management to professional project management.
I was glad Todoist gave me a free trial or I wouldn't have signed up. Todoist is similar to Google Keep or Slack but with more features that make it more like having a digital calendar. The features are pretty good, but I only use the desktop app because I don't like putting unnecessary apps on my smartphone due to the battery usage they take up. I think this is the one thing standing in the way of making this company larger, though I'm sure many other companies feel the same way. Todoist would be good for certain companies, such as a fitness gym, etc. But it's still useful for personal life.
