Binance (binance.com) is a cryptocurrency website for buying and selling crypto. Binance is also a cryptocurrency in itself, aka you can buy some Binance crypto from the Binance broker in addition to other broker platforms.
Binance was founded by Changpeng Zhao. In June 2024, Changpeng Zhao began a four-month prison sentence for money laundering-related charges concerning the Binance platform.

DESCRIPTION
The homepage of binance.com showed a large counter of how many people have signed up to Binance and appeared to update with live numbers. Beneath this number was a button to sign up. To the right of the number was a display of popular cryptocurrencies and their prices, as well as new crypto listings on the platform. There was also a new widget with the latest crypto industry news. I clicked a news article and it opened a new webpage on the same binance.com where the post had been authored by Binance News. 6/4/2024

Binance gives tutorials to follow when you need to learn how to use the website. I followed their tutorial for backing up a crypto wallet address; however, when I visited my Google Drive after completing the tutorial, there was no backup of my wallet there. I wasn't able to get in contact with Binance, so I instead looked around the internet for solutions. I found a YouTube video that had the correct steps and was able to back up my crypto wallet eventually, but not because of Binance. Thanks to the random internet person who did Binance's job for them.
Binance doesn't seem like a reliable company. Its founder is currently in jail. When I go onto TrustPilot it says we've detected a number of fake reviews which I assume to mean people were trying to harm the company. But then it says "This company’s TrustScore is currently unavailable due to a breach of Trustpilot’s Guidelines." So, it seems like the fake reviews may have been from Binance trying to artificially inflate the score. The reason I say Binance doesn't seem trustworthy is because I've never seen this message before for any other company.
Withdrawing money from Binance is unnecessarily challenging. It's easier to deposit money than it is to withdraw money. It takes hours for deposited money to be uploaded to Binance so it becomes usable. A deposit is only not free. It costs 2% of the total amount to deposit money. Binance doesn't have good support. They don't have any human support. They use only chatbots. You have to verify your identity with Binance before you can trade. All online brokers make you do this because it's the law. However, Binance may request it more often than other platforms.
