DESCRIPTION

I typed “basketball” into the search box on the homepage and it returned with hundreds of results. These results are of AI-generated images that people had already done on other sites such as Midjourney and ChatGPT.The images were anything from Ironman dressed as Michael Jordan and dunking the ball to the incredible Hulk driving down the lane in a Lakers jersey. It’s clear the images aren’t intended to mimic reality but rather be creations that trend toward the wildest of imaginations. As I scrolled down the images, a dialog box prevented me from using the site and wanted me to create an account. There was no way to get this overlay off the screen without it coming back immediately. I had overstayed my welcome rather quickly. 6/16/2024
