The logo was put within coding brackets which is a common theme I have noticed in adult sites. In this case, it may be related to the domain name (porn span). I could not think of a connection between span in coding and a porn search engine, but it may be a metaphor for browsing across many areas online. To a noninternet expert, span might be too close to “spam” and may alarm them, but there is no connection between the two words. The homepage was a common porn search engine layout: video thumbnails for categories followed by category links at the bottom of the page. The advantage of adding the links is that you can show all of the categories on the site whereas they probably aren’t going to fit on one page if you use thumbnails. The categories above the fold were a mixture of popular and alternative. The same thing continued throughout the homepage below the fold. I could see the videos used in the category thumbnails inside the categories. Inside the categories, it showed the network I would be redirected to beneath the thumbnail, so I knew what site I would land on before clicking on the video, a feature I recommend for search engines. The sites pornspan.com were all safe or relatively safe from my browsing experience.
