DESCRIPTION
When I analyzed planetsuzy.org, the homepage looked dated but it didn’t look overly dated for a forum. I recommend updating the design to appeal to the younger generations who are using the internet today because that’s your audience and the people who need to like your content. All aspects of the page are considered content and you get judged for all of it with signals such as click-through rate and time on site. You want to encourage people to spend as much time on your domain as possible. When I clicked on forum links, unusual pop-up ads loaded on my screen. I don’t recommend having pop-up ads because most people find them an annoyance which harms your chances of getting good user engagement metrics. The images on the single post page forum topics were high quality, though I noticed that they were hosted by a third party (imagebam.com). It’s not uncommon to host images on file-sharing sites because it can be cheaper for the site owner. But you need to ensure a good user experience on the site your outbound links direct your traffic to because it impacts your signals to search engines.
