DESCRIPTION
The homepage featured a search box with tabs that said for lease, for sale, auctions, and businesses for sale. Above the search box was text that read: “Find your next commercial property.” I could enter a location that suggested there was more than one country available because the suggestive text was “United States.” I could also enter a space use such as office, coworking, industrial, retail, restaurant, flex, medical, and land. These space options make it easier for me to find the exact type of real estate that would be suitable based on what I plan to use it for. I found this feature innovative and useful. Beneath that was an option to log in and sign up. Beneath that were thumbnails for different sections of the site such as Offices for lease and the example was commercial properties in Morwell. There was also retail for lease, industrial for lease, retail for sale, and industrial for sale sections. Each of these sections had a picture as an example and the pictured thumbnails varied in size so as not to replicate traditional thumbnails from something like a tube site such as YouTube. Then there was a section explaining why choose LoopNet. A titled section Commercial Real Estate Explained went into detail on explaining the facets of commercial real estate such as understanding the triple net lease, what is a cap rate, what are reciprocal easement agreements, and what is a 1031 exchange.
