DESCRIPTION
When I analyzed literotica.com, the pag wrap was far narrower than average. I know that sites with an emphasis on writing can have narrower page wraps because some people prefer reading text that has roughly as many words per line as a novel. Nonetheless, the page wrap was still narrower than I was expecting. I noticed that the hyperlinks in the text on the homepage were bolded, which is a technique some SEOs use to increase click-through rate. I don’t recommend bolding words in general because you want to make the reading experience as pleasant as possible which means giving the user the best reading experience possible, and that doesn’t come from bolded links. When I clicked on links on the homepage, they opened stories on the same domain (literotica.com) where the single post pages looked much different, starting with the page wrap and content containers. The page wrap and content container were wider on the single post page and the text was far larger and easier to read, which leaves me with the question: why was the homepage the way that it was? 11/8/2024

Literotica.com has been one of the most reputable sex story websites on the internet since the dawn of adult websites. They used to rank high in Google searches whenever you wanted to read something about a sex story. They're much harder to find in recent years. They tend to be replaced with porn videos in the search results or just everyday magazines unrelated to the adult niche talking about something unrelated to your query. A lot of sex stories tend to be on the naughty side and Google has moved away from allowing anything naughty over the years. For example, it's virtually impossible to find anything related to rape. If you were to try to look for it, you'd get a news article by the Sunday Times or some crap about how someone is on trial for assaulting a girl. They hide the things you want to search for on purpose. Some of the extreme sites that used to be popular have gone out of business for this reason. Search engines are blocking them even if you want them.
