DESCRIPTION
I thought the domain name justwatch.com was relevant to the content. There was a clear message above the fold that it was a streaming site. I felt it sacrificed a bit too much content above the fold by sharing such a loud message. The domain name is very descriptive and it could easily begin to show the movie covers as thumbnails above the fold and users would understand that it is a streaming site in my opinion. I liked the various sections available to scroll through on the homepage which were for sorting through movies. I could sort through the movies popular this week, TV shows popular this week, new movies recently available on justwatch.com et cetera. I liked that each section had a row stretching the full page wrap but if I wanted to view more content related to the section, I needed to scroll. This limits the amount of clutter on the homepage while still making it possible for me to browse for extra content easily should I choose to do it. From what I could gather, justwatch.com was a streaming hub that showed what all of the big-name streaming services offered and then gave links to their content. Is there value in such a hub existing? I think there is. If people like the hub and the movie aggregation system, they will interact positively with it. And the signals say people like the content, it should continue to rank well in search engines. However, it shouldn’t be outranking the original streaming services because no company is going to want a content aggregation site outranking its original content.
