The hentai2read.com homepage had internal links split into two sections: the manga comic cover thumbnails and the section beneath them for written manga titles of hentai that people were reading now and recommending. What was the difference between the manga above the fold with the thumbnails and the other manga shown in only hyperlinked text? It’s possible that the editor of hentai2read.com wanted to showcase the content above the fold. When I hovered over the manga thumbnails, details related to them such as their categories were visible and I could click on any of the category links that showed up in front of the thumbnail. This meant I could look at a manga cover and if I liked what I saw, hover over the cover thumbnail and potentially click any of the related links to find more manga like it. I was impressed with the variety of content on the homepage, the total number of links, and how alluring it all was to click. The editor has done a great job of showcasing a lot of related content. One of the things I didn’t like was that I couldn’t click the thumbnail anywhere to view the manga on a single post page; I had to specifically click on the title that only appeared once I hovered on the thumbnail. The title was above the categories links I mentioned. I recommend having the full manga cover as a clickable link that will open the single post page with the manga. Otherwise, the chances of users finding the links to click on are diminished due to the text featured in the title being difficult to locate and see.
