Fantia (fantia.jp) is a creator platform for manga artists.
In 2024, the default language for Fantia was Japanese, suggesting that the site is based in Japan.
ALTERNATIVES
Similar sites to Fantia include Pixiv, Nozomi, Comic-Walker, Shonen Jump+, Kakuyomu, Tonarinoyj, Tsumanne, and Yanmaga.
DESCRIPTION
Upon visiting fantia.jp I was shown a language dialog where I selected the English language from the box overlay. The text on the homepage was then changed to English; however, there was still a lot of text on the images that remained in Japanese. One of the first features on the homepage was to create your own fan club. Further down the page were notices and FAQs. All links worked, though there weren’t many of them on the homepage. There were, however, sign-in and out buttons, so most content appears to be behind the user account. You will need to create an account to use this site.

Creators can use Fantia to create manga. They can also use Fantia as a network for funding, aka those who view your work can subscribe to you if you are a creator. There are American sites that are similar, but Fantia is the largest one based in Japan that I'm aware of.
