When I analyzed badjojo.com, the homepage had a search box above the fold and some video thumbnails beneath it. The first row of video thumbnails was visible above the fold while the second row of thumbnails was below the fold. I liked that there was a row of thumbnails above the fold to help increase user engagement. On the other hand, are people expecting to find thumbnails at all on a search engine? By my judgment, I think a considerable portion of the overall traffic would be confused by seeing so many thumbnails on the homepage and would not realize that badjojo.com is a porn search engine. That said, I liked that it labeled itself a porn video search engine directly above the search field on the homepage. I recommend making the text that says it is a porn search engine more visible than it is now because unless I looked for it, I didn’t see it.
