The homepage of 2beeg.me showed the domain 2beeg.mobi. I found the title not watching with the domain in the URL to be unusual, but I could see that the brand was the same before the domain extension. .mobi domains are usually for websites that are optimizing content for smartphones, so it could be related to that. The homepage showed video thumbnails and there were details beneath the thumbnails such as the percentage of positive votes, the total number of views, the total duration of the video, and the video’s tags. I clicked on a thumbnail and noticed that the video player was loaded with unusual dimensions (wider and narrower than usual). I played the unusually wide video and it seemed like part of the video was likely cut off from the screen. Is this some kind of tactic? I clicked on some more videos, including ones I had seen on other sites. To me, it seemed like the videos were not being fully displayed in the video player. One feature I noticed when using 2beeg.me was that the videos would change every time I clicked back to the homepage, though there were no clues as to why this would be happening. Perhaps the homepage is showing videos recently watched or trending.
